Announcement for the International Student Who Is to Be Dropped Out of School

《西南交通大学研究生学籍管理规定》【2022（14）号】第十三条以及第三十九条规定，博士研究生（含硕博连读研究生和直博研究生）在校学习的最长年限为6年（含休学），工程博士研究生在校学习的最长年限为7年（含休学）；全日制硕士研究生在校学习的最长年限为4年（含休学），非全日制硕士研究生在校学习的最长年限为5年（含休学）；在学校规定的最长学习年限内（含休学）不能毕业者，且未办理结业或肄业手续的，学校将对其作出退学处理。

以下两名博士研究生学习时间已超过规定的博士最长学习年限，且仍未办理结业或肄业手续。学校将按照上述规定作出退学处理的决定。由于该两名研究生难于联系，学院无法将退学处理事宜确切告知研究生本人，特此发公告，公告期为5个工作日，公告期满则视为将退学处理送达。

若对学校作出的退学处理有异议，请在告知期内，向学院提交书面陈述。未在规定时间内提交书面陈述者，视为同意接受予以退学的处理意见。

Article 13 and Article 39 of “Regulations on Graduate Students Status Management of Southwest Jiaotong University”, require that “the duration of doctor students is four years and the longest schooling is six years (including periods of suspension of schooling). The duration of master student is three years and the longest schooling is four years (including periods of suspension of schooling). Students who fail to graduate within the longest period of schooling and fail to handle the completion or incompletion of schooling procedures are to be dropped out of Southwest Jiaotong University.

Therefore, as the two PhD students who had exceeded the longest period of schooling and failed to handle the completion or incompletion of schooling procedures. According to the requirement of our university, will be dropped out of our university. Due to the difficulty in contacting these two PhD students, the College is unable to inform them exactly about the handling of the Announcement for the International Student Who Is to Be Dropped Out of School. This notice is hereby issued. The notice period is 5 working days.Upon expiration of the notice period, the Dropped Out announcement will be deemed to have been served.

When the two PhD students received the announcement and if they have any doubt about it, they can submit their statement to our school with 5 working days, otherwise, they are regarded to accept the quitting of the schooling by our university and their student status shall be revoked.
