Speaker Profile

Professor JIANG Yushi serves as a peer reviewer for National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Degree Center of Ministry of Education (MOE). He has served as Principal Investigator for three projects funded by NSFC and two projects funded by MOE's Humanities and Social Sciences Program. He has published over 170 papers in leading domestic and international journals.

Renowned for his outstanding achievements in teaching reform and curriculum development, his course, Marketing, was recognized as a “Golden Course” of Sichuan Province. The interdisciplinary course he developed, Sports, Technology, and Intelligent Life, was designated as one of the National “First-Class” Undergraduate Courses. His teaching cases have been included and adopted by Princeton University. He has been honored with multiple Sichuan Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards as well as numerous university-level teaching accolades. Under his guidance, students have earned numerous national awards in prestigious competitions, including the China “Internet+” College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge and the National College Student Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation Competition, which underscores his profound expertise in integrating teaching innovation with practice.

Abstract

In this workshop, themed “‘Flipping’ and ‘Dialogue’: Designing a Student-Centered and Efficient Model for Classroom Interaction,” Professor Jiang will share his theoretical insights and practical experience on innovative teaching models.

In this session, Professor Jiang will exemplify the vital role of a distinguished educator in mentoring junior colleagues by passing on knowledge, providing support, and guiding professional development. It aims to enhance the capabilities of junior faculty in instructional design, classroom management, and interactive teaching, empowering them for success in teaching competitions.
