About the Lecturer:

Li, Feng, associate professor in the Department of Logistics, School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2016, he received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Systems Engineering, Northeastern University, and did postdoctoral research at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2016-2017. The main research directions are Production Scheduling, Logistics Optimization, Combination Optimization, etc. His research results are mainly published in internationally renowned journals such as INFORMS Journal on Computing, Naval Research Logistics, European Journal of Operational Research, Transportation Research Part E. In 2019, he was selected as the Chutian Student Talent Project in Hubei Province.


About the Lecture:

The steel industry is a pillar industry of my country's national economy, a basic industry related to the national economy and people's livelihood, and a core hub of the industrial chain. The steel production process has industry characteristics such as multi-stage production and hot chain logistics network. This report mainly focuses on the theoretical method research of the new production and logistics batch scheduling problem extracted from the actual steel production and logistics management process.
