The “Jingying Scholarship” was originally established by the cohort in June 2015 to reward undergraduates students with excellent character and academic performance. The fund is dedicated to enhancing the quality of education and fostering student excellence. In June 2025, on their 20th graduation anniversary, the alumni made a second donation to the scholarship.

“You have transitioned from students to leaders in your fields, and yet you have never forgotten your connection to your alma mater,” said JIANG. “This scholarship is not only a reflection of your gratitude but also a powerful source of inspiration for our current students. We are committed to using this fund to help many more of them achieve their full potential.”

The event featured a formal signing of the donation agreement by JIANG and alumni representative LIU Kun, after which the school presented the alumni with certificates of appreciation.

Speaking on behalf of his classmates, LIU expressed their collective gratitude to SEM and its faculty. He reiterated their hope that the scholarship would inspire current students to strive for excellence and contribute to the school’s long-term success.

The ceremony underscored SEM’s commitment to strengthening its bonds with alumni, whose support plays a vital role in nurturing future talent and advancing the university’s mission.
