SEM secures Nine National Science Foundation Grants

August 27, 2025 | Chengdu—School of Economics and Management (SEM) at Southwest Jiaotong University has been awared nine new grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in 2025 funding cycle announced on August 27, 2025, reinforcing its position as a leading  institution in economic and management sciences.

The highly competitive NSFC awards  includes four General Program grants and five Young Scientists Fund grants, underscoring both the depth of SEM’s established research capabilities and its strong pipeline of emerging scholarly talent.
