On the morning of September 1st, the ceremony took place at the International Conference Hall on the Jiuli campus. Attendees included Liu Changjun, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of the university, Wang Bin, Party Secretary of the School of Economics and Management, Guo Qiang, Executive Dean of the school, Yang Hongyi, Deputy Party Secretary of the school, Yan Libin, Deputy Party Secretary and Discipline Inspection Secretary of the school, as well as Zhou Jianan and Li Liang, Vice Deans of the school.

The ceremony, presided over by Guo Qiang, Executive Dean of the School of Economics and Management, commenced with the entire audience standing and singing the national anthem of the People's Republic of China.

Deputy President Liu Changjun delivered a speech, extending a warm welcome and congratulations to the new students on behalf of the university. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to individuals from various sectors who have contributed to the EMBA education cause. Liu introduced the university's history, characteristics, and achievements, emphasizing the significant role and position of EMBA education in the university's development strategy. Deputy President Liu Changjun urged everyone to cultivate innovative thinking, maintain a long-term perspective, and develop a broad mindset to tackle the challenges of the times. He hoped that the new students, relying on the talent cultivation system of the school, would become cross-disciplinary and cross-industry elites, ready to set sail on their journey.

Following that, the entire assembly stood up to sing the Southwest Jiaotong University anthem. In the solemn melody of the university anthem, the opening ceremony concluded successfully. All the leaders, guests, faculty, alumni, and new students gathered for a group photo in front of the venue, capturing an unforgettable moment.
