Associate Professor Ma Feng of the School of Economics and Management is selected as the 2020 Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholars List

On April 22, Elsevier released the 2020 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list. This list uses the world's authoritative citation and index database “Scopus” as the statistical source of the scientific research achievements of Chinese scholars, and uses the method developed by Shanghai Ruanke Education Information Consulting Co., Ltd. to analyze the performance of scientific research achievements of Chinese scholars. For the first time, the list adopted the first-level subject mapping of the Ministry of Education, covering 84 first-level disciplines in 10 subject areas of the Ministry of Education, and a total of 4,023 scholars from 373 institutions were selected.



A total of 14 scholars from Southwest Jiaotong University were selected in the disciplines of transportation engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and technology, electronic science and technology, mechanics, and applied economics. Associate Professor Ma Feng of the School of Economics and Management is honored to be selected.



Associate Professor Ma Feng received a doctorate degree in management from the School of Economics and Management of Southwest Jiaotong University in June 2016, and worked in our school in September of the same year. He was selected as a postgraduate supervisor in 2017, promoted to associate professor in December 2018, and was selected as a doctoral supervisor in 2019. In November 2019, he served as the director of the Graduate Education Center of our school. In December 2019, he was selected into the "Tianfu Ten Thousands Project" of Sichuan Province, and in June 2020, he was selected into the "Young Eagle Program" of SWJTU. 


He is now in charge of a general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a National Natural Science Youth Project and a Humanities and Social Science Project of the Ministry of Education, and has participated in many national-level projects. He has published more than 80 academic journals, and his main research work has been published in "Journal of Banking & Finance", "Journal of Empirical Finance", "International Journal of Forecasting", "Journal of Forecasting", "Quantitative Finance", "Energy Economics" , "International Review of Financial Analysis", "Pacific-basin Finance Journal", "Economic Modelling", "Applied Economics", "Empirical Economics", "Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics & Econometrics", "Journal of Management Science", "System Engineering Theory and Practice" and "Journal of Systems Management", etc.. He also has 4 ECONOMICS & BUSINESS (Economics & Business) ESI highly cited papers.
